PRICING

School Year 2009/2010

All charges include training, pre/post testing, data management, and computer placement, set-up, technical support, and maintenance.

SUPPLEMENTAL COSTS:

Any student taking one or more PLATO Semester courses (labeled "PLATO Course - Semester -") will be charged an additional $50 per month.

ON-SITE:

Using school computers, testing and all courses:

*  Basic Internet Learning Program (K-5/6 Courses):  $95 per user, per month, includes all courses.

*  Advanced Internet Learning Program (MS/JHS/HS/AP):  $95 per user, per month, includes all courses.

OFF-SITE:

Using SMART Schools’ preconfigured computer, testing and all courses, plus internet services:

*  Standard Homebound Learning Program (All Levels, computer supplied):  $290 with internet (highspeed, if available), $40 installation allowance provided. Add $25 for laptop.

*  Alternate Homebound Learning Program (All Levels, use student’s home computer), $150 per user, per month.

TITLE I-VIII:

Using SMART Schools’ preconfigured home computer, testing and all courses, plus internet services:

*  “Before-School” or “After-School” the charge is $40 per hour, and includes mentor.

SPECIAL EDUCATION:

Using school’s computer, includes testing and applicable courses, plus internet services:

*  Basic Internet Learning Program (K-5/6 Courses):  $95 per user, per month.

*  Advanced Internet Learning Program (MS/JHS/HS/AP):  $95 per user, per month.

VOCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL ARTS:

Using SMART Schools’ laptop computer, includes testing and all courses, plus internet services:

*  Advanced Internet Learning Program: (JHS/HS) $320 per user, per month.

OTHER SERVICES/CHARGES:

*  Custom School Lumen Hyper-Portal Linux Administrative System: Free for SMART School students; $10.00 per enrolled distance learning student per year for regular school district students.

*  Custom Special Education Administration Program (WebSET): Pricing based on options selected, e.g. internet administration requirements, internet teacher requirements, number of students, computer equipment requirements, etc.
